Meet Your Career Coach

Hi, I'm Chrissie Carter

Director of Talent | Fashion Recruiter | Career Coach

Whether you found me through LinkedIn, a campus talk, or through one of my behind‑the‑scenes recruiting clips, I’m glad you’re here.

I started Let Me Style Your Career after asking myself:
“What do I wish someone had shown me when I was trying to build a career in fashion?”

For the last 17+ years, I’ve built my career inside the fashion industry, interviewing, hiring, and making final decisions for brands like BCBG, Ann Taylor, Michael Kors, Aritzia, Apple, and Veronica Beard.

I’ve read well over 100,000 résumés and hired thousands of people into retail and corporate roles: students landing their very first job, moms returning to work, and professionals pivoting into fashion after years in another field.

Today, as Director of Talent at Veronica Beard, I lead recruiting with a people‑first, brand‑aligned approach. I work directly with executives, train teams on how to interview, and help build inclusive, high‑performing teams that deliver an elevated client experience.

I share a lot of free advice on social media, in schools, and at events. But when we work together one‑on‑one, we slow down and focus entirely on you, your story, your confidence, and the exact roles you’re aiming for. We take the guesswork out of résumés, applications, and interviews, and zero in on what actually gets you moved forward in fashion hiring.

If you’re ready to stop guessing, feel confident in how you’re showing up, and finally pursue the fashion career you’ve been thinking about for years, you’re in the right place.
